It is a type of a roller blind, so named after the method of shutting and opening them. Cleaning them is easiest and best with oil soap if made of wood or with damp cloth depending on the fabric. They could also be feather dusted from time to time. Fabrics blinds can be removed and taken to a dry cleaner's to dry clean them safely.
