In honor of Earth Day today I thought I would bring you a recycled project. Did you know you could do hand embroidery with plastic bags? Well you can and it’s easy with this tutorial over on FeltMagnet.
Take a plain straw tote that you may have around the house, grab some plastic bags and get to work. Complete with detailed step by step photos and instructions, this project can bring new life into an old tote.
It’s also a great way to keep a few plastic bags out of the trash and don’t we all want to do that. And once your bag is finished, you can use it at the market instead of getting a bag. It’s a great solution!
