A Look Into Pete Evans' (Celebrity Chef) Kitchen

Peter Daryll Evans, widely known as Pete Evans , judge of theTV Show"My Kitchen Rules"and former host of "Fresh with the Australian Women's Weekly" recently had a lavish designer kitchen installed that he aptly graded a '10'. As a chef, Paleo ambassador and restaurateur, he knows precisely what he needs to prepare his favorite cuisines.(Thai, Turkish, Vietnamese and Moroccan.)

Outstanding Features In His Kitchen

1. Top Grade Fittings

Chef Pete Evans identified quality when he saw it. The gleaming high gloss countertops, shining stainless steel on faucets and sinks, soft close drawers, the high quality material on cabinets, pull out pantry and the gleaming floors were some of the minute details that the designers did not overlook and won him over with.

2. Space

Any chef worth their salt knows they have to move about the kitchen. They have to display their foods, lay out their spices in a certain order, arrange their crockery and utensils, turn around and regulate heat, observe how the cooking is progressing, and in other occasions, serve samples. All this would be impossible if they were confined to one corner of the kitchen

3. Lighting

He says the space was once dingy, but the design team brilliantly illuminated the kitchen by installing superior lighting in strategic places round the kitchen

4. Pre-Installed Appliances And Elegant Finishes

The functionality of the kitchen is complete with all basic appliances installed. Coupled with elegant finishes like unconventional yet incredible taps, there is simply no match to this kitchen.

5. Walls

The walls were painted a dazzling white to further boost the brightness of the room.

6. Aesthetics

The décor in the kitchen is simple yet tasteful, giving the room a focal point, a calming blue was used to offset the white and the blend-in created astounding results.

7. Extra Discreet Storage Space

The cabinets can hardly be seen by a first time visitor to the kitchen. The design is seamless giving a uniform polished and neat look to the kitchen. The team utilized most of the space in the kitchen, creatively fitting drawers in seemingly odd places like beneath the oven.

8. Separate Appliance Holding Area

To keep the kitchen from looking crowded, an extra cupboard was installed to keep useful appliances out of sight, but conveniently within reach.

The kitchen was appropriately designed to serve as a cooking and dining space with the addition of the stools to the bench. Its functionality has been hiked.

Chef Pete was impressed for all the right reasons and he can attest to it by showing off his awesome kitchen, designed by a highly professional staff. They are outstandingly creative, utterly dedicated and near perfectionists when it comes to their work. By implication, their mantra seems to be 'better than excellent'. Above all, they worked with the chef's instructions in mind and created what blew his mind.

In his own words, "as a chef, you pay attention to detail. The kitchen is the hub of the household and [the designers] did an amazing job".
